Lau D’Arta

Dreamy and satirical, Lau D'Arta (Laurence D'Artagnan) is a drag king living and performing on the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and Kwanlin Dün Nation. From predominantly French ancestry, he grew up on the unceded territory of Abenaki First Nation (known as Sherbrooke). In the art scene for more than 10 years as a performer, writer and creator, Lau D'Arta can get into your hearts and pants by playing with humour while remaining charming.
